The apartment is located on a quiet street behind the buzzing pedestrian street with all the shops, cafés and restaurants and 2 minutes walk from the beach. On the 1st floor of a traditional 17th century building - visited by Napoleon in1796, the property boasts original features - high ceilings, terracotta tiles and exposed beams. It has, however, been updated and recently redecorated incorporating a spacious Italian design modern kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave. The living room has a plasma screen TV and DVD player with cable TV (access to some English language channels) and WIFI. Accommodation: Bedroom with double bed and above it a mezzanine with sofa bed for occasional use. Above the dining area in the living room is another mezzanine with twin beds. Access to this mezzanine is via a very easy metal spiral staircase - it is not however suitable for very young children.The bathroom is equipped with WC, basin and bath with shower attachment.

    • Menton, often referred to as the pearl of France, is situated on the south-eastermost point of France, bordering Italy and just a few miles from the Principality of Monaco. Sheltered by a natural mountainous amphitheatre, Menton basks ina sub-tropical micro-climate boasting 316 cloudless days a year. With a population of 29 000 covering 5 square miles, Menton is a town which thrives all year round. Most visitors come here for the climate but the town offers many other attractions - with plenty of public and private beaches it is especially popular in Summer, but not only that the town enjoys world famous gardens boasting a plethora of tropical variety of plants, several museums, harbours, a beautiful covered municipal market restaurants galore, of course the winding streets of the charming medieval old town with its impressive Basilica and a casino! Every February the town comes alive as the streets vibrate to the sounds of carnival music during the famous Fête du Citron.

In the charming historical centre of Menton there is plenty to keep you occupied within a few minutes walk. A car is not necessary although there is free parking available nearby. If necessary a phone line can be arranged with an extra security deposit payable.

    Situated in the town centre and minutes walk from the seafront, this two bedroom second floor apartment offers an idea holiday based for both couples and families. Well equipped and very well presented the accommodation comprises of entrance hallway with video phone entry system, open plan living/dining room with sliding doors onto the balcony. There is a separate fully fitted kitchen again with access on to the balcony.here is a second corridor leading off to the sleeping areas, where there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin room with storage. There is a bathroom with bath and shower fittings and a separate toilet.Fully air-conditioned throughout.
