Vacation Rental Description
Originally a village house and adjoining barn, Maison Rose has been lovingly transformed into a luxurious self-catering villa and two apartments with large private pool. Situated in the village of Cipieres, near Grasse, you’re only 45 mins from Nice and the delights of the French Riviera. Set in its own garden and occupying a privileged south facing position, the pool and sun terraces offer the perfect location for relaxing, enjoying the climate and taking in the spectacular mountain scenery. 
 
The villa offers generous accomodation throughout with 5 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities plus two extra cloakrooms. The living room is spacious and has a well stocked library, WiFi, satellite TV, CD player etc. French doors lead on to the terrace and pool area, which is bedecked with Oleander, Geranium and Roses. We also have a games room (originally a cellar for grain), with a pool table and various games. 
 
The living room is overlooked by a well equipped gallery kitchen and dining area perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is equipped to a high standard, enough to satisfy the most demanding of Chefs! We ensure enough large pots and ample cutlery. For alfresco dining there is an outdoor kitchen with BBQ and dining area. Sun loungers, parasols and the large heated pool enable you to make the most of the Mediterranean climate. 
 
For winter vacations, the house is well centrally heated with an open fire in the living room. The ski resort of Gréolières les Neiges is only 25 minutes away. In the summer the house stays naturally cool due to the two foot thick stone walls which make air-conditioning unnecessary. 
 
The swimming pool measures a generous 12m x 6m and occupies a sheltered, south facing position, getting sun all day. It is usually heated from May through to October. The pool is maintained every day, ensuring it is kept clean. 
 
Our English speaking caretaker is on hand to welcome you and make sure you enjoy your stay. He can provide you with home grown organic vegetables and order local produce from the nearby farm. Cipieres is noted for its goats cheese and delicious honey! 
 
We provide all linen, towels, swimming pool towels and robes. Baby sitting, cooking and extra cleaning can be arrnaged by requets.

    • Cipières is a stunning, listed medieval mountain village affording tremendous views of the Alpes Maritimes and the Gorges du Loup, reached by a picturesque mountain road. The road to Cipières ends in the village square so there is no through traffic to disturb the tranquility. The peaceful atmosphere is enhanced by the beautiful aroma of lavender, thyme and rosemary. The village bar/restaurant "Les Ormeaux" offers great food at a good price. Open lunch times and in the evenings on Friday and Saturday. The village pizzeria makes wonderful woodfired pizzas. Open Monday to Friday evenings 18.30 - 22.00 and Saturday and Sunday all day between 10.00 - 22.00. Takeaway and delivery to Maison Rose available. The epicerie/local shop sells most everyday items. A local farm sells organic chickens, ducks, rabbits and eggs. You can also buy local goats cheeses and honey.

    Maison Rose Booking & Rental Conditions Bookings are Saturday to Saturday. The booking is secured upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the rental fee. If the booking is made within six weeks of the start of the holiday the full amount will be required. The deposit is non-refundable. The balance must be paid at least six weeks before the start of the holiday. We are unable to offer a refund if you cancel within six weeks of the start of the holiday. For this reason we strongly recommend our guests take out a Holiday Cancellation Policy. However, we will make every effort to rebook the property and if we do we will refund the rental fee, less the deposit. The property is available from 4pm onwards on the day of arrival. Please advise us if you will be arriving late in the evening. The property must be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure.
