The apartment is in a quiet location in a modern building, only a few minutes walk (500m) from the famous Palais des Festivals (home of the Cannes Film Festival), Boulevard de la Croissette, and the main shopping street, rue d'Antibes, as well as a wide range of great bars, restaurants, cafes and other amenities.

I was met on arrival by their housekeeper who showed me around the apartment. The building has an impressive entrance foyer and is very secure. The apartment was absolutely immaculate - not a speck of dust anywhere, and I felt at home straight away. The furnishings are good quality, the chairs and bed very comfortable and the aircon very efficient. The apartment is light, airy and spacious - and although the location is very central it is completely peaceful, so sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine, listening to the fountain tinkling below was a very relaxing experience!     • Marché Forville (10 mins walk.) - This vibrant local market takes place most mornings until around 12.30hrs, and offers a great range of fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, meat, local fish, cheese, rotisseries, olives, as well as a range of small bars and restaurants serving coffee, a glass of wine, oysters, caviar and smoked salmon. Highly recommended! 
     
    Ski & Sun: 
    From December - April, you can reach a great range of ski resorts from Cannes in only 1hr 30 mins by car. You can be on the slopes by 9am, then back in Cannes for an aperitif and dinner by 6pm! For further information, visit:

    Our apartment at 'Le Palazzio' is very clean and well looked after. We visit it regularly to make sure that everything is kept to a very high standard. We have a very nice local French lady who helps us with this. She will meet you on arrival at the apartment, deliver the keys and will show you how everything works.

    We actually lived in Cannes for 5 years (we now live in Amsterdam), and know all the little corners and alleys, which many other people might not. We also go back there several times a year as we love the place so much!
