French Riviera - Cannes / La Napoule
Le Suffren. A Studio/ one bedroom apartment
Beautiful, quiet location, 15 minutes walk to the beaches, castle, walks, restaurants, bars and weekly markets, railway station, with regular trains to Riviera towns – Antibes, Nice, Monaco, Menton.
5 minutes walk Hypermarket and wine caveFacilities of the apartment
The apartment has an enclosed balcony and sun from early morning till after lunch, it is ideal for eating, sitting and drinking with lovely views.
Separate WC and Bathroom with jet/ordinary shower, lit triple mirror and washbasin.
Kitchen area has the essentials including microwave with grill/oven, washing machine, plenty of cooking / eating equipment,
Main room has table and 4 chairs, extra small bed/seat and colour TV / DVD/CD.
This apartment will accommodate four adults and one small child as there are beds to meet this demand but this will be very cosy!.
Situation on the Cotes de Azur
The apartment is ideally situated near many interesting places, art museums, delightful walks, historical sites, and restaurants/bars for all tastes and prices.
We are 10 minutes walking distance from the famous Cannes Golf course and there are discounts for playing.
30 minutes from Nice Airport served by many flight operators
From Nice airport – various Car hire available e.g. Eurocar from £15 per day. Buses and trains run frequently to Cannes and then to Mandelieu further information available from us.
The Guardian who looks after all the apartment blocks can be located on the left of the corridor on the ground floor block D you are in Block A
There is also a French boules courts in the grounds.
A Security man patrols at night round all the area.
The Swimming pool lights up at night till 11 0clock very pretty, then the water sprinklers are turned on it sounds if it is raining very relaxing.
Restaurants
There are some within the hypermarket.
The best in our opinion are in La Napoule.
Other shops in La Napoule post office, bank, and small supermarket open Sunday morning! chemist, bakers, estate agents, souvenir shops, clothes shops,
On the sea front down from the castle (worth a visit) is the tourist information open normal office hours very helpful and their English is excellent but they enjoy you trying your French. If you want to play golf the tourist information is able to get you discounts.

Beaches
Many and various to suit your needs, most have showers to keep you cool or rinse off the sea water.
A sandy beach next to the castle on the left is small and busy. All along the sea front towards Cannes are various sandy beaches with car parking spaces on the left.

Cannes is lovely and right opposite the film festival theatre is a good and reasonable Italian restaurant (wine expensive), but there are many restaurants along the front to the left of the film festival, right along to the harbour with singing late into the night.

The fireworks are very good, and viewed best to the left of the film festival.

Lots of leaflets in the apartment to help you choose your outings or maybe you want to just rest by the pool which is open from 9 o’clock but is not supervised except in high session when the times vary.

Plenty of historical and places of interest can be visited from the apartment.
The world famous Old Cannes old course is 10 minutes away.
Various lovely beaches to suit everyones needs.
Many restaurants nearby catering for all tastes and price brackets.
Lovely walkes along the cliffs west of la Napoule and inland towards Frejus.
The Valley de Verdon is experience not to be missed!

There is a very large supermarket complex 5 mins walk away and wine cave for draft wine at 1.8 euros per litre. A famous Golf course is only 10 minutes walk away. Local buses run (outside the apartment block) regularly to Cannes and other interesting towns on the riveria. Near by in la Napoule 15 mins walk is train station also covering the Riveria.
Various local beaches are both sandy and pebbly and are ideal for swimming or just relaxing.
Parking is available on the private Rd outside the appartment block which is situated in a select area of La Napoule.
In the grounds there is a boules court and the swimming pool has a diving board.
We overlook the Marina and sun comes onto the balcony from early morning till 1 oclock. In summer to keep the apartment cool there is a sun shade and a roller shutter to block out the sun.
Please note there is a optional/additional cost for providing Linen and Towels or cleaning when you leave.

Low Season Price : £150 High Season Price : £350 per Week
A deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking ( this is non refundable) and the balance 6 weeks prior to departure. In order for you to maximise cheaper flights you can arrive anyday at anytime Payment by cheque or cash.
