Vacation Rental Description
The two-bedroom apartment is conveniently located in the old French town of Grasse, on a square full of art and sculpture galleries. The old town is extremely interesting with tiny streets that wind forever between the historic buildings, leading up and down ancient steps and passing through arched tunnels, sometimes opening out on to large squares. The hills behind give Grasse a fresher climate than the beach during the heat of the summer, with a delicious smell of flowers all around. Fountains and clear air abound! The apartment is also near the magnificent cathedral of Grasse (with three Rubens!) and Fragonard which is one of the main perfumeries of Grasse - 'the perfume capital of the world'. All amenities are just a few minutes walk away, with a local produce market in the Place des Herbes, and the daily flower market is held in Place aux Aires where there is also a large choice of provençal restaurants. There is public underground parking just around the corner from the apartment. 
 
Grasse is a beautiful town, but is also an ideal base for exploring the Cote d'Azur and Provence. Grasse has a railway station with services to Cannes, and the bus station is well served (including 10 buses, 7 days a week to Nice town and airport). Antibes and Nice (including the airport) are all within a three quarter hour drive, as are the beautiful hilltop villages such as St. Paul de Vence, Gourdon and Fayence. Trips into the beautiful countryside are too many to list! There is a regular train service to Cannes that takes 25 mins from Grasse. It has a lovely sandy beach and the town offers many attractions. The short journey time makes it extremely convenient for anyone attending any of the numerous business conferences at the Palais des Festivals or the Film Festival in May. Monaco and St. Tropez are about an hour's drive and the stunning Gorges de Verdon are not far by car.

    		  Low Season Price: £150 per Week
      High Season Price: £350 per Week
         

    All prices are per week. Rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Arrival 4 pm and departure 10 am. Please notify us of late arrival. A 25% deposit is required, with the final balance due one month prior to the rental. A damage deposit of £250 (€ 375) is required on your arrival. Bedding and towels are provided. All utilities except heating included. 15% discount for bookings of 4 weeks or more. Christmas/New Year and Mid-May (Cannes Film Festival): Add 30% to Rates quoted.
