Vacation Rental Description
This quaint 2 bedroom cottage nestles on a hillside near the town of Civray. With attractive enclosed large garden with above ground pool, from July to September, BBQ and covered terrace, it is ideal for al-fresco dining. 5 minutes walk is the river Charente, ideal for fishing and within 1Km there is a large swimming lake with beach and water slide. Cycling can be enjoyed in the surrounding area and bikes are supplied. For days out the town of Poitiers and Futurascope is about 1 hour's drive away and for the beach, La Rochelle is about 1.5 hours. A Playstation is also available for use at the cottage.
Cycling can be enjoyed in the surrounding area and 3 bikes are supplied at the cottage. Also golf can be enjoyed in Poitiers. Or a short trip, about 1.5hrs to Jarnac and Cognac to visit Courvoisier or Remy Martin brandy distilliery.
