    • Stylish Farmhouse retaining many original features ie Charentaise fireplaces,lovely beams and some interior stone walls.Set in small,quiet,friendly hamlet.About 2 kilometres away is a larger village with a small supermarket,bakers,taxi service,restuarant and bar.About 10 minutes by car are 3 large supermarkets and 2 attractive small towns, one of which has a weekly market.About 30 minutes by car are attractive beaches and fishing ports with seafood restaurants.Further up the coast is the Cote Sauvage which has truly stunning beaches but few facilities so a drink/picnic is recommended[also the beach umbrella].About 30 minutes north is the historic town of Saintes with a Roman amphitheatre,abbey ,cathedral and good shops.The house has good size garden mainly laid to lawn with fruit trees and other ornamentals .On one side it has an open boundary straight onto sunflower,wheat,or maize fields and vineyards.The house is well equipped.
