Vacation Rental Description
Take a well earned break in a luxury house with lovely beams in the Deux Sevres region of France. The house is set in the quiet, rural countryside within walking distance of the picturesque village of Le Pin; which offers an excellent Boulangerie, hair dressers, grocery shop and a superb bar and restaurant. The house itself is open plan lounge, with a dining and kitchen area. The bathroom is split across both levels, and there is a furnished utility room at your disposal. Upstairs there are double and twin bedrooms offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Furnished to a very high standard thep property offers a comfortable environment, perfect for that special holiday. Complimented by a large rear garden, with secure parking facilities on site. There are gates at the entrance to the drive and to the front of the property from the road, meaning that you can be secure in maintaining your peace and quiet. Especially useful for small children! The garden offers further views of the wonderful countryside, and sun loungers and garden furniture is provided for your use; along with a BBQ to aid those relaxed evenings with some of the local wine and produce.
This area enjoys a famous micro-climate which makes it the second warmest place in France. You are only 75 minutes from the Atlantic Coast where there are some lovely beaches and colourful shops for you to while away your time; or sample the delights of local cuisine, especially the seafood and crepes. Nearer to home, there is a local fishing "resort" of Pescalis(permits can be obtained from the tabac in Le Pin), the town of Cerizay has a marvellous swimming pool, with funslide, sauna's and jacuzzi (along with an outdoor sunterrace that borders the pool) and leisure centre. There are many nearby towns famous for their excellent wines such as Saumur, and it is only a short hop to the nearby fine wineries of the Loire valley.
Should you desire something a little more active, the many local towns offer fantastic bargains at their weekly markets; or if you need to entertain the family a short drive to Poitiers will take you to Futuroscope or the Puy du Fou theme parks - but be warned, you will need time and energy to enjoy the fantastic and sometimes breathtaking attractions on offer. The Zoo at Doue La Fontaine is also a must offering some truly adorable animals for the family to fall in love with.

Facilities
Linen and towels are provided. Highchair and travelcot are available. Freesat TV is provided in the lounge, along with a DVD. There is a stereo system, and a games drawer. There are a number of electric radiators throughout the house, though in winter the log burner in the main lounge keeps the entire house toasty (wood provided). The garden is private with the house and a BBQ is also provided. All crockery and cutlery is provided, along with a free WELCOME BASKET to help you on your arrival.

Rental runs from 2.30pm Saturday to Saturday and must be vacated by 11.30am. Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. Long lets of one month or more available. Prices for bookings of three months or more available upon request. Stricty no smoking indoors.
