Welcome to our romantic cottages exclusively for adults, situated in a traditional south facing courtyard. These renovated holiday cottages retain many original features. Some buildings dating back to the early 16th century. 
The cottages share use of 12m x 6m solar heated pool and jacuzzi, wonderful for peace, tranquility and relaxation. Hammock available by the pool, relax. Or maybe you feel energetic and want to play table tennis or badminton! 
 
LAVENDER COTTAGE-Beautiful bright cottage sleeping 2 people, double bed. It has a private south facing garden with shaded seating area, sun loungers and BBQ.  
French doors in the cottage dining area, lead to the poolside area. The cottage has exposed beams and has been lovingly restored. 
All equipment as standard as in Hollyhock Cottage. 
 
HOLLYHOCK COTTAGE-Large double cottage with exposed beams and original bread oven (no it doesn't work!), dating back to the 16th century. 
It has its own shaded patio area with BBQ. 
Well equipped kitchen, with electric oven, gas hob, fridge, washing machine, and microwave oven - it even has a garlic press! 
Mini Hi-Fi system in cottage. Tea-towels, towels and gowns are included (please bring your own pool towels). Weekly change of bed linen included in price. King size bed. 
For your convenience, a welcome basket awaits your arrival.  
Two comfortable triple settees. Hair dryer. I pod docking system. 
 
Hollyhock cottage can accommodate up to 2 extra adults- extra charges apply, please enquire with owner. 
This cottage has over 100sq mts of living space approximately available.

    • Bed Linen, Towels and Tea-towels are supplied for all Cottages. (Please bring your own pool towels) For a two week booking, bed linen and towels are changed weekly if required. Bicycles are available for guest use free of charge.....at your own risk! Each cottage has its own shaded patio area, with patio table set and sun loungers and BBQ. Each cottage has TV with DVD player, to watch DVDs only. Shaded undercover parking available for guests. Folding table, chairs and picnic baskets, and thermos bags are available for hire to all cottages - to explore the French countryside, sunflower fields abound! The local Boulangerie is approx 5 minutes by bike, or a leisurely stroll away. The market towns of Melle and Chef Boutonne are within easy reach and each has a choice of restaurants and shops. NEW!!! Large Jacuzzi Spa.......use the Jacuzzi at any time, but enjoy it especially at night and marvel at the beautiful starry sky!

    The Château des Forges Golf and Country club is one of the most beautiful golf courses in France. Giving you access to play 3 perfectly well maintained golf courses,three 9 hole courses with water hazards, wooded fairways, suitable for those with low to high handicaps. The Golf des Forges has the only 27 hole golf course of the department playable all year round thanks to the investment in a drainage system. Why not enjoy a meal at the Restaurant “La Bergerie du Golf” it can be the perfect “in between two courses” break! There you can enjoy a snack, the meal of the day or a menu “à la carte”, watching the superb views overlooking the golf course.

    THE PRICING TABLE ADVERTISED IS FOR LAVENDER COTTAGE ONLY.- For further prices please access www.serendipityfrance.com. We accept payment by credit cards through Paypal, cheque and bank transfers. Upon booking we require 25% non-refundable deposit within 7 days of acceptance, along with the booking form on www.serendipityfrance.com. We also require a seperate security cheque for £150, which will be returned to you after satisfactory inspection of the cottage used. The cottage will be available for your use from 4pm on day of booking, and we ask that you vacate your cottage by 10am on day of leaving. We strongly advise that you have adequate insurance to cover the possible cost of holiday cancellation.
