Vacation Rental Description

Boussais, situated 27km from Parthenay, and 70km from Poitiers (nearest airport for Ryanair flights from London Stansted). The property is an old flour mill located in 2½ acres of private land, shared with the owner's residence, dating back to Napoleonic times, and has been lovingly restored and renovated to the highest standard. The property offers the holidaymaker:

Deux-Sèvres and surroundings...
The Deux-Sèvres have many attractions like Pescalis (Europe’s premier fishing centre, at only 12 miles distance from us), Le Puy du Fou, Mouton Village, Marais Poitevin, Parthenay, and an excellent golf course only 38km away. We have sampled some fine restaurants in the area which we can recommend to you. For peace of mind, our own GP also looks after our guests in case of need.

A little further away, but within a day''s drive distance, you can visit the Futuroscope (Poitiers), Saumur, Zoo de Doue, Cognac and lots of Chateaux.

Description of the Grange
Ground Floor: Terrace overlooking the river with outdoor dining, plus lounge, dining room, kitchen, WC, library, and reading area, plate-based snooker table, cable TV, DVD, video, and CD player, woodburning stove and a sofabed for additional 2 people at a surcharge.
First Floor: 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms/2 bathrooms/3 WCs. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine / dishwasher / cooker / microwave oven.
Central heating, bedlinen and towels, pool towels, garden furniture, barbecue, ample parking - are all included.

Activities provided at the Moulin de Chatillon Activities provided in the grounds are 6 x 12m heated pool with cabin, WC, changing facility and fridge, river with little boat, fishing in our own river or in a lake close by, barbeque, table tennis (full size), 4 meter trampoline, bicycles for hire, indoor games, and a park-like garden with swings for the kids is at your disposal. Dining on the terrace overlooking the river, all is included, i.e. there are no hidden extras once you arrive, except: 1) A surcharge for the use of the sofabed, if wanted, simply for the extra bedlinen and towelling; 2) If we are to heat the pool for you before 15 April and after 15 Octobre for the use of wet suits, we charge £90 p.week.; 3) Car- and bicycle hire.

· Fishing of carp, perch, pike, catfish, trout and many more in our own part of the river Thouret between MARCH and NOVEMBER each year

· Large heated salt-water pool, enclosed for children's safety; own cabin with WC, changing facilities and fridge.
· Slate-based snooker table in lounge area of the Barn.
· Full size Table Tennis Table
· 4 adult bikes for hire on a daily basis.
· 4m dia. trampoline (up to 160kilo weight capacity)

· Library and indoor games.

We can arrange for you: horse riding (12km), or driving range (Golf)-12km, or canoo lessons (1km).

Rates are from GBP 550 to GBP 1295 per week and our standard rental runs from Saturday to Saturday. For your convenience and security, we accept payments via credit card, debit card, PayPal and cheque.
