La Vigne is in a relaxing peaceful location in a wooded valley with a river bordering the property. To the north are Puy de Fou, a fabulous themed Park and Futuroscope near Poitiers, both within easy reach. To the west there is the coast of the Charente Maritime, with the beautiful old port of La Rochelle and lovely sandy beaches. Just a short distance to the east are the lakes of Central France and the Vienne River with plenty of places for fishing or just relaxing by the water, or if you like something a little more adventurous try some rafting or canoeing.
