La petite grange is only 10 mins to the river Charente at Ruffec where you can swim,fish,hire a canoe or the perfect place to relax by the river.
The coast of the Charente Maritime is just over an hour and a half easy relaxing drive,where you will find the magic of La Rochelle and Royan and the Islands of oloron aix and rai.
We are fortunate here to be only a few mins drive to a number of very good reasonably priced Restaurants.
A visit to one of the Famous Distillerys at Cognac is a must and we would also recommend a visit to our small local Producer.
Futuroscope at Poitiers is a great day out or just a soiree, not just for kids but for adults as well, a bit like Epcot in Florida.
