This studio apartment barn conversion is attached to the owners home which is a very typically styled Charentais villa. Parking and entry is to the front of the property within the circular driveway. The studio is a spacious "L" shaped open plan layout. Living/dining/sleeping area with fully fitted kitchen and separate shower/toilet. 24/7 hot water. For winter lets it benefits from oil fired cnetral heating and a wood burning stove. The private balcony has a circular stairway leading to the garden and pool area. The studio is simply furnished with as little clutter as possible for easy living. Double sofa bed, wardrobe, sofa, coffee tables, dining table and chairs. Portable tv/dvd, cd/radio player. Full cooker, fridge and microwave with plenty crockery/glassware/cutlery etc for 2 people. Balcony has its own patio table and chairs, brolly & cushions. The beautifuly maintained gardens are extensive with avonce (table and chairs) an ideal place to relax with a glass of wine while seeing to your BBQ. There is also a small French bouels area. The garden and pool are shared with the owners who live full time on the property and gite guests. There are various sun loungers and seating within the garden. 
An ideal location just 13klm North of the cathederal city of Angouleme and 11klm west of the charming town of La Rochefoucauld. The property is situated just 6.5klm off the route N10 which can take you all over the beautiful region of the Charente which is famous for its many congnacs.  
All bed linen and towels are supplied. You are requested to bring your own beach towels for the pool area.

Please contact by email or telephone to discuss availability and request booking form and brochure. Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days until booking form and deposit cheque (25% of holiday price) is received. The balance must be received 8 weeks before your holiday date is due. All cheques should be made payable to: Mr & Mrs Kurkowski as detailed on the booking form along with cancellation policy. Long term winter rates November to March are charged at £450 per month with a minimum rental period of 3 months. This price is all inclusive of water, electricity and part time central heating. Wood for the stove is available at an additional charge.
