Nestling in the Charente, between Atlantic & Dordogne in s.w.France, Le Grenier is one of two charming, independent gites at Chez Luquet hillside farmhouse & pool with pretty views.Visit Cognac,Angouleme, Bordeaux,St.Emilion

Le Grenier is situated in a tiny hamlet only 10 minuts to shops, restaurants & tennis.  
It's ideal for visits to Cognac, Angouleme, Bordeaux,  
St.Emilion. 
You can explore the areas many attractions or just sit back, sip your wine & enjoy the view across the pool.

? Living room: A large airy, comfortably furnished, double aspect living room with a sunny s.w. facing balcony, oak beams, exposed stonework and lots of character. Separate WC 
? Shower room: With W.C. and hand basin.  
? Kitchen: Fully equipped for 6, including a washing machine,idge,eezer, gas cooker, microwave etc 
? Bedroom 1: Double bed, Bedrooms 2: 2 Single beds, Bedroom 3: Bunk beds and mini table football

Each gite has a separate garden with garden furniture and barbecue as well as the two large communal grass terraces near the fenced 32ft x 16ft (9.75m x 4.88m) swimming pool.  
 
Good cycling and walking country; golf courses, riverside & lakeside beaches; canoeing and tennis; local shops, restaurants, banks; ancient sleepy villages & markets; horse riding;  
 
Aubeterre, one of the loveliest villages in France; historic & pretty towns of Riberac, Bourdeilles, Brantôme: ancient châteaux; easy reach of Cognac and the vineyards of Bordeaux and St Emilion are to the South (1 hour). As is Bergerac.  
 
GETTING HERE 
 
Only 45mins.drive from Angouleme airport with cheap Ryanair flights & car hire @ the airport. 
 
Only 90mins.drive from Bordeaux, Bergerac or Limoges airports all with car hire available & cheap flights via RyanAir,BA,BMI etc. 
 
Fast,comfortable Eurostar & highspeed TGV take you from Waterloo rail station to Angouleme where car hire is available. 
 
The cheapest ferry crossing from £60return) is Dover to Calais/Boulogne followed by a 6hr drive to Angouleme  
 
With easy access by both road, rail and plane makes Le Grenier is an ideal holiday destination.
