Comfortable family farmhouse with large kitchen/diner and good sized sitting room. Bathroom downstairs and shower room upstairs. Three double bedrooms and 'sleeping gallery' for another 2. Also a cot and high chair for small visitors. Woodburning stoves, cooker, fridge and washing machine. No TV. The house is a good base for exploring the Charante and Vienne regions but is not for those who are seeking entertainments found in an urban environment.
Garden, large barn and field. Lovely country walks and good cycling area. Beautiful chateau at La Rochfoucauld and cathedral at Angouleme. Many old towns to explore beside the Vienne and Charante rivers.
