La Grange Souris is a large and beautifully converted barn which includes all modern facilities, yet still retains many character features including a huge feature window in the barn door. It has a pretty front garden, large rear garden with nectarine and apricot trees and is bordered by oaks and ash trees, providing the ultimate natural boundary for privacy. The garden also has lovely views over the surrounding rural countryside.
The barn is of an open plan design with the bedrooms and bathroom set off an upstairs gallery. This spacious property includes the following features;

Surrounded by gently rolling hills, maize and sunflower fields the quiet hamlet of La Tourterie makes an ideal base for walking, mountain biking, go-karting, horse riding, wine tasting, golfing, canoeing, fishing, bird watching, sight seeing or simply relaxing in the sun by the pool with a good book and a glass of wine.
La Tourterie is a tiny hamlet 15 minutes walk from the quiet village of Montemboeuf which has basic facilities. The pretty town of La Rochfaucauld is 15 mins drives, with its imposing chateau and full range of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The nearby large leisure lake at Lavaud provides scenic picnic sites, sandy beaches, swimming, sailing and many other nautical and outdoor activities, along with a fantastic adventure park for the children and d mountain bike routes around the lakes and surrounding countryside. For keen golfers there is a excellent 18 hole course 10km away at Rouzede plus others nearby.
