The 3 bedroomed gite available comfortably accommodates up to 6 people.

This briefly comprises:

Ground Floor

- Living Room with TV, DVD, feature fireplace and tiled flooring

- Kitchen, fully equipped to include fridge, oven, microwave, iron, ironing board, etc

- Bathroom with Power Massage Shower, WC and washbasin

- Third bedroom with single beds.

First Floor

- Master bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and Hair Dryer

- Bedroom with twin beds and wardrobe

- WC and washbasin

Garden to the front with table, chairs and parasol; off-road parking to the front or rear. Barbeque provided for those warm evenings! We also have an above ground swimming pool. Pushchair, highchair and cot are available if required.

New for 2008 - 2 further gites, each finished to the same standard as the first, each sleeping 4. Currently converting a barn and works will be completed by March 2008. Both 'upside down houses' with the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor with separate WC and living accommodation on the first floor along with the entrance. Both have their own separate terraces so you can sit out with a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down - tranquille!

This cottage has been restored and retains many of it’s original features.

Tranquille Vienne, is situated 5km away from Chabanais. Chabanais has all the amenities required. Also, within 20 minutes driving is St Junien, Confolens and Oradour sur Glane. Angouleme is a 40 minute drive south-west of us. We have many lakes around the area if you are into watersports. Les Lacs de Haute Charente are closeby for watersports, beaches and fishing.
Peyras is a small hamlet near Exideuil which is on the river Vienne. Easy to get to and within 30 minutes of Limoges Airport. A pick-up service is available if required.
There are many things to do around the area so if you like playing golf, walking, cycling, we can point you in the right direction. Other attractions close by include the Velo Rail, Aventure Parc or maybe you’re into watersports – then down to the River in Exideuil or further down river to Confolens. Plenty of beautiful Churches and Chateaux to see on your travels! This cottage has been restored and retains many of it’s original features
