Benefiting from the preserved surrounding of the Logis de l'Astrée, between woods and vineyards (of aour familial property).All year round, La Petite Maison (2/3 persons) and La Maison des Chênes (4/5 persons) allow our hosts to meet themselves in family or between friends with any independence.Comfort and authenticity were the vital leads of the arrangement of these dependences in small cosy nests. We chose natural materials, hemp, wood, terra-cotta and lime there to preserve the character and the well-being of the houses of formerly.  
Each of these Gîtes benefits from an own garden and from an access to the swimming pool of Logis de l'Astrée.

Shelters La Petite Maison and La Maison des Chênes are available for stays from week to summer, for stays off season weekend. 
Fitted out in the dependences of the south outer wall of the Logis de l'Astrée, La Maison des Chênes opens on the West in front of wood which encircle the property. It is in the very quiet environment appropriate for the Logis de l'Astrée and in any independence that you can benefi of La Maison des Chênes.Benefiting from two rooms with each their private bathroom (shower, WC) and of a surface about 100 m ², we can welcome a family from 4 to 5 persons. 
A large living room opens on an own garden equipped with garden furnitures and with a barbecue. A small path allows to join the swimming pool of the Domain, Sheets and bathroom linen are supplied. 
Equipment: wash linen, washes dishes(crockery), refrigerator, sticks cooking, oven, microwave, iron ADSL Internet access in the Reception of the Logis de l'Astrée. 
Car park close to the house, the access by the garden. 
The Maison des Chênes is accessible to the disabled persons.

Aux portes de la maison, de nombreux sentiers de randonnées (dont un GR) vous conduiront à travers vignes et champs à l'Abbaye de Fontdouce ou encore au Paléosite de Saint Césaire par le sentier d'intérprétation le long de la Vallée du Coran. Zone Natura 2000 cette unique vallée verte de la Charente Maritime vous séduira par son relief escarpé et sa végétation luxuriante. La faune et la flore y sont remarquables et vous pourrez vous la laisser conter par un guide spécialisé installé sur la commune jumelle de Saint Césaire, Thomas Audouin. Parcourue de nombreux ruisseaux et parsemée de sources et de lavoirs, la Vallée du Coran constitue un site idéal pour tous les amoureux de nature et de quiétude. 
La Maison de la Mérine se trouve juste à côté de l'Auberge des Bujoliers.
