The gite has two double and one twin bedded room (plus a full sized cot and baby extras such as high chair etc), a bathroom with shower and full sized bath, a seperate toilet, fully fitted and equipped kitchen and utility rooms (washing machine, dish washer, microwave, two fridges etc), an "L" shaped living room with UK TV and radio channels, DVD/CD player with i-pod connectivity through a hi-fi, and dining area. Free wi-fi connectivity is also available. In the extensive private garden is a fully fence protected heated pool with wooden decked sun terrace, plus a further sun terrace with barbecue to the rear of the gite. The large garden is perfectly safe for children to play football, cricket etc. There are 5 bicycles available free to guests, plus two sets of boules for use on the court in the village. Ample parking is available.

The gite, in the village of Rétaud, is just 10 minutes from the beautiful Roman town of Saintes, and less than 30 minutes drive from the nearest coast. Saintes boasts plenty of good shops, markets and restaurants, cinemas, river trips, golf etc. A first class all weather tennis court is available in the village and the beaches of Royan, St Georges de Didonne and St. Palais are around 30 minutes drive away.

Prices are converted to £Sterling at the rate in force on the day of confirming the booking. A non-refundable 10% deposit is required, the balance being due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday (we send out a reminder 9 weeks before). Sterling cheques or bank transfer are the available options for payment.
