Downstairs is open-plan with original beams, stone walls and terracotta floor tiles. The spacious kitchen and dining area has a log-burning stove to make it cosy in winter, whilst the sitting room has an open fire. There are two windows to the garden, giving it a light and airy feel.
Upstairs there is a wooden landing, with new shower-room at one end (including double basins) and separate toilet at the other. In between are the two bedrooms: one with double bed and window looking over the garden to a small windmill; the other is slightly larger, with two single beds and views to the Estuary. Both rooms have radiators, fans and wardrobes.
The cottage is comfortably furnished, kept very clean, and decorated in French country style. (Unlike many properties in France, all windows are fitted with mosquito blinds to keep any insects at bay and ensure you get a good night's sleep!) The sun terrace has a BBQ, with table and seating.
