La Petite Pommeraie is light, airy and spacious and has just undergone further renovation to bring it up to a higher standard. It has a bedroom with pretty provincial furniture incl. a 5' double bed, a good sized living room with a cosy wood burning stove for your winter visits, 3' divan/daybed and a double sofa-bed. There is a separate fitted kitchen and bathroom with spa shower. Outside you have a large terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, screened from the rest of the land by a beautiful weeping willow which also offers privacy and ample shade when necessary although it does not shade the terrace. The rest of the large garden is at your disposal.

L'Etable (part) 2-5 is bright, sunny, cheerful and uncluttered accommodation with exposed beams, heating and woodburner for your winter visits, and simple but very comfortable furniture
5' double bed and a good sized living room with sofa beds. There is a separate fitted kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower. Outside you have your own south facing terrace with garden furniture.

L'Etable (whole) 4-7 is the above with additional adjoining accommodation opened up to give a further bedroom/living room arranged as a studio with a kitchenette and shower room, which can also be rented separately. In this case, outside the french windows you have 2 terraces with garden furniture, 1facing north and west with full views across the fields to the sunset, the other facing south

Sleeping 2, the studio is bright and airy with large French windows opening onto the terrace. There are exposed beams and high ceilings giving a feeling of space. It has a living room with a very comfortable sofa bed, (we have used it for 2 week periods before now) heating, a kitchenette and a shower room.

All gites are on the ground floor on level ground. There are single steps in both main gites and a sill at entry
We have woodburning stoves in the two larger gites as well as central heating for your long winter lets
Linen can be provided on request
Final clean can be provided on request
Although we have no pool, the clean river Charente is down a short track from the bottom of the garden and is lovely to swim in. We have a canoe you can borrow too
