Detached, spacious, single-storey property close to our Charentais farmhouse. Ideal for families with toddlers and suitable for people with minor handicaps. The French doors lead to a peaceful garden with patio furniture and sunloungers overlooking fields of maize and sunflowers. The evening sunsets provide a perfect backdrop for barbecues and leisurely drinks.

This is a detached, spacious, single-storey cottage close to our Charentais farmhouse. As there are no stairs the cottage is ideal for families with toddlers; similarly, it might be suitable for people with minor handicaps.  
 
The French doors lead to a peaceful garden overlooking fields of maize and sunflowers. The evening sunsets provide a perfect backdrop for barbecues and leisurely drinks. 
 
The accommodation provides: 
 
KITCHEN/DINING AREA: Large room with oak beams, attractive open fireplace and dining table with chairs. The fitted kitchen area is well-equipped with washing-machine, fridge, full-size gas cooker, microwave, iron/ironing board plus all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. 
 
LOUNGE: Through oak-beamed arch from dining area. A light and spacious room with French doors leading to garden. Furnishings include a three seater sofa, two armchairs and coffee table. There is satelite TV giving access to BBC TV and radio (including childrens programmes)and also a video player - you might like to bring your own tapes for the children or evening entertainment. 
 
FAMILY BEDROOM: This room has a beautiful outlook. It has an en-suite WC and wash basin and is equipped with a double bed with wall reading light, two bunk beds and a cot with mattress. Furnishings also include fitted clothes storage, chest of drawers, bedside tables, chair and portable fan. 
 
SECOND BEDROOM: Pretty room with two windows overlooking garden and fields. Furnishings comprise two single beds with wall reading lights, bedside table, chair and fitted clothes storage. The room also has a ceiling fan. 
 
BATHROOM: Light and airy, comprising bath with shower, hand-basin and WC 
 
GARDEN: From French doors to an attractive grassed area with garden furniture, parasol and barbecue. There is ample car parking space.

PLAYING AREAS & SWINGS: Large grassed playing areas surround the properties. 
TABLE TENNIS: Table tennis is provided in a covered barn.
