This is a charming bungalow located in the Charente Maritime region of France. Situated in a quiet village mid way between Bordeaux and La Rochelle. It is just a short drive away from the beautiful Atlantic coast and quaint fishing port of La Tremblade, and La Palmyre, and not to far from the busting town of Royan. This area of France boasts long sandy beaches and pine forests with many picturesque walks and cycle paths. Within easy reach are tennis courts, horseriding, golf, markets, play parks and many other attractions. This area is infamous for its oysters and seafood platters. The zoo at La Palmyre is one of Europes biggest and is well worth the excursion. Other interesting day trips include the vineyards and distilleries of Cognac, the historical town of La Rochelle.
The weather in this area is generally very good and equates to the South of France - but no guarantees.
This detached bungalow has two double bedrooms, large lounge, bathroom and kitchen. The house has its own large walled garden which is very safe for children.
The bedrooms come complete with one double bed, and two singles. A very comfortable fouton gives an additional double. The bathroom has a bath, shower, basin and toilet with washing machine. Lounge has comfortable furniture, table etc.
Outside there is a large patio area with loungers, umbrellas, BBQ, tables, bikes, games etc.
Off road secure parking is provided.
Access to the property can be achieved by cheap flights to La Rochelle, Nantes or Bordeaux. One is able to hire a car from £80 per week. Alternatively you may care to catch the ferry to Caen, Cherbourg or St Malo and drive down approx 6-8 hours.
