Vacation Rental Description
We have 2 self-catering, ground floor apartments with private gardens. Both apartments have off road parking and the 1 bed is suitable for wheelchairs. The apartments are located near the town of Le Château at the southern end of the island, just 5 mins by car from the bridge and ten/twenty mins walk to the local shops, supermarket, restaurants, market, port and beach. The apartments are fully equipped to a high standard and bed linen and bath towels are available upon request. Both apartments have TV's (flat screen in 2 bed with DVD player) WIFI internet access, BBQ and garden games for children. 
 
Oleron Sun has 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 (4 preferred) It comprises a healthy living space with hemp insulation and wooden pannelled walls and ceiling with natural chaux decoration, which is both attractive and breathable. The floors are covered with a natural vegetable based flooring called sisal. The result is a cosy, modern, well insulated apartment that is cool in summer and warm in winter. At present the garden is natural with holly hocks and ferns. The apartment sleeps 4-6 in master bedroom with a double bed and large wardrobe, 2nd bedroom with 2 singles and a convertible corner settee in the salon. There is a modern bathroom with a massage jet shower and a 2nd separate WC. The living room comprises a well equipped kitchen with French doors opening on to a sunny, South West facing garden with BBQ, tables and seating for 6, 2 sun beds with cushions, attached sunshade, washing line and garden games for children. 
 
Oleron shade is a one bed apartment and sleeps 2 to 4 people. The apartment is newly converted, spacious and tiled throughout with shutters on all the windows. The master bedroom has a double bed, drawers and hanging space. The living room comprises a double futon/sofa bed and coffee table and a well equipped kitchen with all the mod cons, table and seating for four and a TV/DVD player. There is also a spacious bathroom with shower, WC and washing machine. Outside there is a shady north facing garden with trees, table and seating for 6 and a BBQ. Near the main road in to town.

    We request a deposit of 200 euros per rental week in high season (non refundable) which, can be paid by direct bank transfer or cheque to a UK or french account. Balance must be paid in euros (cash or otherwise). During the low season the apartment can be available for weekends up to the whole period. Please contact us for details. We require a security deposit to be paid in cash upon arrival of 300 euros or 200 pounds sterling. This includes 50 euros cleaning deposit and is fully refundable at the end of your stay, assuming the apartment is left as it was found. Alternatively you can choose to leave the 50 euros and we will clean the apartment for you. The apartment is self-catering but includes all bills (except in the case of a longer let). Holiday periods may be charged more. Please contact us.
