3 Bedroom House in Charente-Maritime

Lovely spacious house situated in a peaceful hamlet surrounded by vines and sunflowers. Enclosed gardens, patio and sun terrace. In perfect situation for walking, biking, relaxing and ideally situated for short drive to the beach. 
 
A typical rural house, spacious with lovely gardens to relax and read in a perfect get away from it all. We have a inflatable pool for cooling off on hot lazy summer days when all you want to do is chill out. 
 
The house has a double downstairs bedroom and toilet and shower room .There is 1 step down to the lounge from the kitchen. If you are disabled or in a wheelchair please ring for any queries you may have regarding access etc. and I will be pleased to answer any questions. There are two bedrooms upstairs with a seperate toilet. 
 
We do not allow smoking inside the house at all. A deposit of £100 would be required to secure the booking and the full rental will be payable 6 weeks before the date of the holiday. The £100 deposit will be returned 2 weeks after you leave the house providing there are no breakages etc. Any late booking would require the full rental immediately.

Kettle, Toaster, Iron, Hair dryer, Slow cooker, Private gardens, BBQ, Childrens pool, covered patio, tables and chairs for outdoor eating, Loungers and various games to play outdoors, bools etc, three gardens all enclosed with lockable gates if your have children. Also extra Car parking space. Gemozac is 3 kil away with supermarkets,restaurants,markets,swimming pool.etc. 10 min drive to Mortagne a local port with restuarants and 20 mins to the beautiful sandy beaches of Royan and surrounding beaches. Medieval Cognac 30/40 min. Sainte and Pon are also within easy driving distance. Jonzac has a big swimming complex and is only 20 mins drive.

Great for: Walking holidays, Rural / countryside retreats, Cycling holidays. If you like the slow pace our house is ideally situated for bike rides and ambling through the vines and sunflowers. In Gemozac there is tennis and a swimming pool. There is horse riding just beside the port of Mortagne. A pleasure boat from Mortagne takes you out to view the coastline from the estuary If you dont see your passtime ask and we will find out if its there.

• Nearest Town : Gemozac at 3 kilometers distance
• Travel Info: The nearest ferry port is St Malo 5 hours. Ferries to Calais are more frequent and cheaper but a long drive of up to 7 hours. As there are many lovely towns and cities in France an overnight stay on route would leave you refreshed to start your holiday. Flights in the summer months go to La Rochelle 1½ hours away and all year to Bordeaux 1 hour. Airports routes are opening all the time so it is well worth checking all destinations with various operators. Car hire at the airports can all be booked well in advance as our house is a car must have.
