Les Lézard has a 2 very comfortable gites adjoining our Charentaise farmhouse situated in a quiet hamlet surrounded by fields of sunflowers, wheat and corn. We are within cycling distance of Aulnay with its Romanesque church and all local facilities including supermarket, restaurant, snack bar/cyber café, bakers, butcher, tabac, Post Office, banks and an open-air swimming pool and tennis court.Every Sunday, fresh produce and gifts can be purchased from the market in the square. This is an ideal base for Bordeaux, Cognac, Saintes, Surgères, Rochefort, La Rochelle, Royan, Poitiers and Futuroscope. There are several golf courses within 1 hours drive. The beautiful market town of St Jean-d'Angély is only 15 mins drive away with supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars, indoor leisure pool, skate park, mini-golf, water activities and go-karting. Market day is every Wednesday.

We are situated in a very quiet Hamlet near Aulnay with its famous Romanesque church, shops, bars, restaurants, banks, supermarket, petrol station, open-air swimming pool and tennis court.
The lovely market town of St. Jean D'Angely is within 15 minuets drive with many shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants offering French, Italian, Cantonese and Indian cuisine. There is also an indoor Leisure Pool, Skate Park, Mini Golf, river activities and Go-Karting. Wednesday & Saturday mornings are market days.
The surrounding countryside of maize, wheat and sunflower fields are ideal for cycling and walking.
Le Petit Lézard is an ideal base for the coast and many tourist attractions: Marais Poitevin, Poitiers,
Futuroscope, Limoges, Oradour-sur-Glane, Cognac, Saintes, Royan, La Palmyre Zoo, Ile d' Oléron, Rochefort,
