Vacation Rental Description
Le Petit Lézard is a comfortable gite comprising of an open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area comprising of one cane sofa, two cane armchairs with foot stools, book-stand with books and board games, UK satellite TV, video player and CD player. A dining table with 6 chairs. High chair available on request.
The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Ground floor w.c. with hand-wash basin.
Staircase leading to two bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 – one double bed, two bedside drawer units, hanging clothes rail and shelving unit.
Bedroom 2 - two single beds, one bedside drawer unit, hanging clothes rail and shelving unit.
Spare single bed for a 5th person.
Cot available on request.
Bathroom with shower cubicle, bath, hand-wash basin and w.c.
All bed linen and gite towels are provided
There is easy access to an enclosed terraced pool area with a 10m x 4.5m swimming pool, with roman steps to the shallow end, and sun-loungers and parasols. The pool is shared with our other gite Les Grand Lézard (#38112 search on Home page).
Outside the front entrance of the gite is a garden table with 6 chairs and BBQ overlooking a small garden with lawn, shrubs, plum trees and two magnificent Horse-chestnut trees which provide excellent shade for outside dining.
There are several outdoor sitting areas in sun or shade.
Rear garden with lawn. shrubs and fruit trees and a slight unshaded elevated area for sunbathing.

Activities
We are situated in a very quiet Hamlet near Aulnay with its famous Romanesque church, shops, bars, restaurants, banks, supermarket, petrol station, open-air swimming pool and tennis court.
The lovely market town of St. Jean D'Angely is within 15 minuets drive with many shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants offering French, Italian, Cantonese and Indian cuisine. There is also an indoor Leisure Pool, Skate Park, Mini Golf, river activities and Go-Karting. Wednesday & Saturday mornings are market days.
The surrounding countryside of maize, wheat and sunflower fields are ideal for cycling and walking.
Le Petit Lézard is an ideal base for the coast and many tourist attractions: Marais Poitevin, Poitiers,
Futuroscope, Limoges, Oradour-sur-Glane, Cognac, Saintes, Royan, La Palmyre Zoo, Ile d' Oléron, Rochefort,
La Rochelle & Ile- de Ré.
