Welcome to Saint Martin de Juillers, Charentes Maritimes-Gateway to a whole lot of attractions. Le Jardin d’Angelyne offers a comfortable home base, whether just relaxing or visiting the La Palmyre zoo, La Vallée des Singes, Royan enormous beaches or Cognac & Pineau des Charentes wineries.

The beauty of Charentes Maritimes is at the doorstep of our Le Jardin d’Angelyne. Spend the day, relaxing at the property, go to the beaches of l’ Ile d’ Oléron & Meschers, shop, only minutes away. Enjoy a complimentary daily hot breakfast at the B&B and our evening social hour serving beverages and light snacks; outside is the BBQ picnic area and a heated pool.

We are 60 minutes from La Rochelle and Royan airports and just 20 minutes from the town of Cognac. We have a selection of accommodations, from three lovely large bed and breakfast rooms to a two person romantic cottage, all the way to a spacious well equipped cottage to sleep six people. All the accommodation is ground floor, each with it’s own private garden or patio area. Our Octagonal heated swimming Pool 10.5. x 5.5 meters enjoys the benefits of salt water filtration which is kinder to the skin and eyes than a chlorinated pool. What better way to relax than to enjoy a glass of local wine with a good book, basking in the sun around the pool! Whatever you want from a holiday – a memorable holiday awaits you!

Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are about 50 minutes up the coast at Meschers - these are small coves with safe, sandy beaches. Five minutes further on are the enormous beaches of St.Georges de Didonne and Royan, both with full safety patrols, lots of space and some water sports. Royan, is the most famous seaside resort on the Atlantic coast. It’s large beach, shops, and nearby La Palmyre zoo (largest in Europe) make this coast mostly attractive.

There are all types of courses within Poitou Charentes. Moreover, the temperate climate, exceptionally long hours of sunshine and special light in our region mean that you can play at any time of the year.

The Cottage - Romantic (1 Bedroom, Sleeps 2)provides comfortable and romantic accommodation for a couple.
The living area is open plan providing generous lounge and dining areas and a fully equipped kitchen (with gas cooker, fridge, washing machine - house access - and microwave and a lot of utensils for great cooking. All south facing windows overlook the private garden. There is an added pleasure of a traditional wood-burning stove for cooler seasons.
. The Cottage - Garden (2 Bedroom, Sleeps 4/6. The entrance to this south facing gite is via a private walled terrace (with it’s own table, chairs, and BBQ), which is decorated from spring to autumn with geraniums and lavender.

. Changeover Day is Saturday (during the peak season). Arrival from 4pm, departure by 10 am Please contact us to arrange alternative days and other times.
. Payment - a 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival. A deposit of 150 euros is payable on arrival and will be returned to you on departure providing no damages or breakages are incurred during your stay. * Reasonable gas and electricity costs included
. What’s included? Pillows, duvets, blankets, tea towels and all bed-linen are provided. Please bring your own towels for use around the pool. (option available to hire towels at a weekly charge - please ask).
. We will meet you on arrival, and will be able to answer any questions you may have and will deal with any problems or emergencies during your stay
