Holidaying in one of our self-catering cottages or lodges gives you the freedom to benefit from a quiet and relaxing place to return to, and the opportunity to live the French way of life. La Maison de St George provides all you need for that perfect holiday away. 
 
All the cottages are ideally located from which to explore the freedom of the Atlantic coast with its islands of Ré and Oleron, beaches and La Rochelle and the undulating countryside and wines of the Cognac region. 
 
An excellent range of themed activity breaks are also available. So, if you dream of satisfying a passion to experience a new sensation or enjoy your favourite pastime during your vacation – look no further. Why no try a little cycling, play a round or two of golf, relax with a paint palette or just take time to discover the world-famous Cognac distilleries and vineyards nearby. For the young at heart look no further to discover the kayaking, paintballing, high ropes and thrilling zip wires, chocolate making, go-karting and lots more including fabulous zoos, aquarium and theme parks!  
 
Flexible dates, mini breaks, longer lets can be arranged, as well as larger group bookings and conferences for up to 15 persons.     • All properties are fully equipped with all modern facilities. Wishing Well Cottage boasts a pretty private garden with lilac, roses and irises, plus garden furniture to enjoy eating 'al fresco'. All other lodges have either a private garden or terrace or even both! Wood burning stoves or/and open fires feature in each cottage plus either electric or gas central heating - perfect for that cosy winter break! For summer sunshine - sun loungers and garden furniture are positioned throughout the landscaped gardens to enable guests to enjoy the peace and quiet, with fruit and nut trees providing canopies for shade. The cottages are set within a fully walled complex. Rental includes: all bedding, towels and tea towels, heating and electricity.
