Belle Dune is one of P& V Holidays’ most popular self-catering holiday villages in France. Built in the 20th Century style of the Picardy region, the village nestles in a preserved natural area of sand dunes, is surrounded by a large lake and flanked by one of France’s finest golf courses. On-site activities are numerous, the beach is accessible by train plus a mini-market and an English pub. 
 
In the heart of the countryside, close to the Bay of Somme and to the Marquenterre ornithological park, Belle Dune is an entirely traffic free eco-village situated near the coast. The detached houses and the two-storey building are built around open stretches of water and are adjacent to an 18-hole golf course. 
 
To discover in the resort and surrounding area: 
 
- Marquenterre Ornithological Park: a natural reserve in the Baie de Somme. 300 acres of sand and mud flats, covered by the sea twice daily. 
 
- Maison de l’Oiseau: bird centre - a unique place for information and bird-watching. The closeness of the birds and the handlers’ knowledge will help you to recognise birds from their silhouette and colour and learn about their behaviour. 
 
- The Valloires Gardens: bordering the Authie, a magnificent landscape garden boasting over 5,000 varieties of rare bushes and roses, at the foot of a Cistercian Abbey. 
 
- The Baie de Somme Railway: 16 km-ride in an old steam or diesel locomotive train across the “mollières” and salt-meadows. 
 
- Boat trips or walks in the bay to see the seals and explore the surroundings. 
 
- Valley of the Somme: its numerous lakes, the “ Puits Tournants ”, the Vaux Belvedere, Abbeville, Samara Park (25 acres), Amiens and its Cathedral and Picardy Museum, the Naours Caves (refuges developed into a fully-fledged town). 
 
- The Bay and Valley of L’Authie: Fort-Mahon Plage, Crécy Forest, Etaples-sur-Mer with its fishing museum and the sight of the sea sweeping over the bay at spring tide, its floating huts…

      High Season Price: €1,710 per Week
         

    Prices in euros per unit per stay including : Accommodation. Sheets, bathroom linen, 1 dishcloth, 1 cleaning kit, all left in the apartment. Television. End-of-stay cleaning (except kitchen area and dishes). These services are repeated at the beginning of each week for stays of more than a week. According to our conditions of sale, they do not include a supplementary administrative charge of 15 euros per booking. Local taxes to be paid on site by client. Refundable deposit : 200 euros. Arrivals on Saturday from 5 pm., departures on Saturday before 10 am. Access to the games and sports equipments, to the free adult entertainment.
