A perfect spot for walking or cycling and well situated for visiting the famous canals of "Green Venice". It features a private heated pool (9m x 4m, depth 1.1m to 1.6m, with entrance steps) which has a surrounding wall and safety gate for peace of mind with small children. The property enjoys a large grassy garden that looks onto pleasant countryside as well as an eye-catching interior with tasteful furnishings.

There are village amenities at just 3 miles, including bakery, shop, bar, restaurant, tennis and the local baker delivers to the door. The towns of Lucon and Fontenay le Comte are both easily accessible (13 miles) as are the beaches of the Vendee coast (24 miles) and the historic town of La Rochelle (30 miles).

Large supermarkets and further choice or restaurants at Lucon (13 miles) and Fontenay le Comte (13 miles).

    Places to visit - Chateau de Terre Neuve, Fontenay le Comte (13 miles). 'Green Venice' - exploring the waterways by punt, at Velluire (6 miles), and at many other pretty villages within 30 minutes drive. La Rochelle (30 miles) - old port with street cafés and restaurants, excellent shops, huge aquarium, various museums - a great day out. The forest of Mervent, lake and picturesque village of Vouvant (20 miles).
