L'Echerbaudière is set in over 3 acres of private gardens, surrounded by the Mayenne countryside, it is the perfect rural retreat, offering a peaceful relaxing holiday.

L'Ancienne Maison (sleeps 4) lounge/kitchen/diner with it's exposed beams and feature stone walls benefits from a modern fully equipped kitchen with an oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave etc.

The wood burning fire provides additional comfort during the cooler months and the perfect relaxation spot for a glass of wine and a good book. For your entertainment the lounge has UK TV via satellite and a DVD/video player along with several board games and books. There is an interconnecting door that leads into L'Arch that is locked and secured unless both gîtes are rented together.

The woodern staircase from the lounge leads up to the two comfortable bedrooms and the family bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed whilst the second bedroom contains twin beds. Electric heaters are provided for both bedrooms during the colder months. The bathroom is fully equipped with a shower facilities in the bath.

The entrance of L'Arch (sleeps 2/3)leads into an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner that has been fitted with a modern corner kitchen that provides a cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster etc. There is a dining table and chairs and the lounge area has a comfortable settee with UK TV via satellite as well as a DVD/video player. There are also several board games and books, and there is an extensive library of DVDs/video's for you to borrow should you prefer to watch a movie with a glass or two of wine.

The wooden stair case in the corner leads up to the large double bedroom with its magnificent exposed beams (ample space for the additional single bed if needed) and the en-suit shower room.

L'Arch is fitted with electric heating for your additional comfort during the colder months.

The interconnecting door between the two gîtes enables the flexibility for renting up to 7 people and when booked together benefits from exclusive use of all facilities.

Next door to L'Arch you will find the door that leads up to our large games room with it's high vaulted ceiling provides pool/snooker, darts, baby-football, large chess set, TV/DVD/ video and numerous other games and books. Separate WC.

Guests have the full use of the upper lawn, where you will find the large above ground pool (which is solar heated from June - September (weather permitting)), patio area with garden furniture and sun loungers, BBQ facilities and table tennis. At the side of the building is the paddock which is ideal for children to play ball games etc. For guests that might wish to take a walk there is a bridal path that starts on the doorstep. Some bicycles available for guest use.

The local village of St Denis de Gastines has two bars, two bakers, a small supermarket, bank facilities and horse-riding. There are numerous local châteaux well worth a visit and both river and lake fishing are within a 15 minute drive.
For those who like to cycle or walk, there are over 200kms of beautiful off-road cycle tracks close by and plenty of bridal paths both on the doorstep and within the local area.
