La Passoniere is the ideal destination for individuals or couples who prefer quality, secluded and peaceful accommodation with all the amenities for that special get-away-from-it-all holiday. No neighbours and no worries. Just the occasional sounds of Farmer Gilles on his tractor and birdsong in the mature, well-kept garden. Go on, treat yourself!There’s ample space for two to relax in comfort. The ground floor has a large living room under an open ‘cathedral’ ceiling with a wood-burning fire and fully-equipped kitchen area. The former hayloft, which covers half the first floor level, has a bedroom and an enclosed shower room (with modern hydro-jet shower) and toilet.

The lounge area has a comfortable two-seater settee and a single armchair, coffee tables, English satellite TV and radio and DVD/CD player. The kitchen area has a gas cooker, fridge and microwave and a comfortable table for two for sampling the wonderful local farm produce.

La Passonière stands at the end of a country lane – so no passing traffic to disturb those wine-induced slumbers – in grounds of almost three-quarters of an acre. The semi-enclosed, mature garden has separate sets of outdoor furniture and barbecues for those lazy summer days and evenings when even the shopaholic
needs a rest.

And all towels and linen are supplied free so there’s more room in the car to take all those goodies like wine and cheese home with you. Having a break from housework? We can provide a mid-week cleaning service at a small extra charge. For our guests staying longer than a week a mid-holiday change of bedding and towels is provided free of charge. The Normandy landing beaches are 90 mins away, as is the Bayeux Tapestry and the 70m long embroidery showing how William the Conqueror invaded England and defeated King Harold. It's not to be missed.

Then there's stunning Mont St Michel. One of France’s best-known landmarks, it has been a monastery, a citadel and a prison. Or Villedieu les Poêles and its dazzling displays of copper and pewter in this, the town of the pans.

Medieval Domfront and the stunning flower village of St Fraimbault are a few minutes away. Friendly bars and restaurants for excellent – and cheap – meals. And if you've over-indulged a little, work it all off with a round of golf or a spot of horse riding or cycling? La Passoniere: a place where you can relax and unwind one day and explore the next.

A non-returnable deposit of £100 is required when booking your holiday. Payment in full is required six weeks before the holiday start date. If the time between booking and the holiday start date is less than six weeks, payment in full must be made when booking. Payments can be in either Pounds Sterling or Euros. Please note: Our British Pound and Euro prices are not based on current exchange rates. You are free to choose which of those prices you wish to pay. Rates in Euros available upon request. A refundable deposit of 150 Euros is required upon arrival in case of breakages, any damage to the property or the need to employ a cleaning service if the property is not left in the same condition it was upon arrival. *Please Note: The owner of this property accepts payment in the original currency specified, before use of conversion tool.
