Vacation Rental Description
We are on the border of Lower Normandy and the Loire Valley giving you the ideal location to explore both of these beautiful areas of France. 
 
Our farmhouse is in the middle of a working farm, set in a hamlet in dairy farming countryside. We have spectacular views over the valley, with the nearest town being Gorron and yet we are only an hour and a half from the port of Caen. 
 
A selection of books and games. 
The apartment has electric heating. 
All new shower, sink and w.c. 
Separate garden area with own patio although we have no objection to you sharing the front garden. 
Garden furniture and barbeque. 
Ample parking area with secure under cover parking if required. 
Car, Motorbike and Cycle clubs are welcome. 
A truly relaxing base from which to explore the region’s most popular towns and coastline. 
 
Bagnoles de l'Orne is,  
above all, a wonderful natural environment in the heart of a 17 000 acres protective forest, next to a beautiful lake that inspires long walks. The sometimes-precipitous relief surrounding the spa contrasts with the calm atmosphere. Time seems to have stopped in this green paradise. 
 
Lassay Lex Chateux 
With a population of just under 3,000 inhabitants, the village boasts not one, but three Châteaux within the Canton. 
Two of these Châteaux are now ruins but the third, situated in the heart of the village, is a stunning example of traditional French 15th century architecture. It's vast, imposing turrets overlook the village lake providing one of the most beautiful views in the region. 
 
Domfront 
The medieval town is perched on a hill at 215 metres above sea level. This gives the town with its half timbered houses and cobbled streets a panoramic view. 
 
Falaise is  
famous for its medieval fortress where William the Conqueror was born in 1027.. William later became Duke of Normandy and King of England The restored castle is open to visitors every day. You can walk round the ramparts and see the beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. 
 
The Beautiful Le Mont St Michel 
Slightly further afield, but considered by many to be a wonder of the Western World, a must see and the second most popular tourist attraction after Paris.
