In a quiet countryside location, 1 mile from the banks of the Loire, and only 8 miles from SAUMUR, situated just off the Route de Doue (D213, LA BRAZONNERIE is a lovingly restored 250-year-old, typical Anjou farmhouse with original beamed ceilings and natural stone walls. Featuring independent access, en-suite bathroom and shower-room, courtyard, private garden and terraces, equipped with garden furniture, LA BRAZONNERIE offers a quiet retreat, while at the same time being easily accessible to a variety of outdoor pursuits, a wide choice of excellent restaurants and a wealth of architectural heritage offered by the Loire Valley - its Chateaux, Abbeys, churches, and Roman archeological sites, etc.
LA BRAZONNERIE, CUNAULT is accessible by car and bicycle. A local bus service operates along the banks of the river and SNCF offers direct train services to SAUMUR. The airports of TOURS and ANGERS are no more than 1 hour's drive.

The nearest seaside beach is approx. 2 hrs drive, but the natural river sand of the Loire provides riverside beaches at several locations. Swimming in the Loire is not permitted but it is allowed in certain tributaries.
SAUMUR is the home of the CADRE NOIR, the world famous French equestrian team. The centre is well worth a visit and demonstrations and shows take place at various times throughout the season.

Bicyle hire can be arranged.
French & English language courses with experienced teacher are offered and wine appreciation visits to award-winning vineyards "off the beaten track" can be arranged.
