Vacation Rental Description
The latest of our barn conversions, Lys has been sympathetically renovated and has wonderful views from the mezzanine, over the vine- yards and countryside. Lys is a perfect holiday home in the Loire France WiFi internet access.Wherever possible we have exposed the beautiful stonewalls, and original beams have been used to create some outstanding features. Quarry tiles found in the garden have been used in the creation of the staircase.
Lys is ideal for two people, plus baby/toddler or small child. The lounge is very comfortably furnished, having a TV, DVD player, hi-fi, DVDs, books and games. The delightful kitchen / dining room is open plan; the kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cooker and microwave ,iron and ironing board.. French doors lead onto a very private patio with wonderful roses, BBQ and garden furniture. The garden backs onto the a vineyard. We have equipped the holiday home with all the comforts of home. Making your self catering holiday in the Loire Valley as comfortable as possible.
The bedroom is on the 'L' shaped mezzanine floor. The sofa at the opposite end of the mezzanine is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the views over the countryside to Puy Notre Dame, with its famous church illuminated in the evening.
The bathroom has a hand basin, toilet and shower.
Heated swimming pool. sun loungers, tables and chairs. Infant paddling pool, children's play ground, 4 course evening meals on selected evenings. Welcome Packs
Facilities
Being in the heart of the Loire Valley Wine Route and close to historic chateau, we are ideally placed for a wonderful holiday. The airports of Tours,Angers, Nantes and Poiters are all within easy reach. The TGV runs from Paris to Saumur. Doue la Fontaine, he nearest town, holds a farmers market every Monday where guests can stock their larders with wonderfully fresh products to enhance their cooking. Doue is also world renowned for their conservation zoo, fabulous Rose Gardens, troglodyte houses and musuems are close by. Golf, tennis,horse riding, bird watching, walking, cycling ( we have cycles for hire)chateau visits, wine tastings or simply lazing by the pool. Les Fleurs holidays gites are perfectly placed for everyone to have a wonderful holiday.

To book we ask for a 20% booking deposit and the £100 refundable security deposit. The balance of the rental is due 8 weeks prior to your holiday. Heating is not included in the rental price ans is charged extra locally.

This is our second visit to Les Fleurs and we are already planning our third! The welcome we received from Jon and Sue made us feel like returning friends rather than holiday makers. LYS is absolutely beautiful, full of character and immaculate. Our Son had plenty to do, loved the play area and of course the large pool. Set in a perfect location, quiet and peaceful, however very close to supermarkets and local attractions. It’s been the perfect holiday and we wish Jon and Sue the very best.

Very welcoming, comfortable stay in a good location to visit the fabulous gardens, Chateaux & the pretty little historic villages around here – Too many cheeses & far too much pate and wine!! – We had a splendid time, including a visit in the patio from a red squirrel!!

Excellent meal on our first evening, just what we needed! Recommended the caves (vintners) at Le Puy Notra Dame and Les Verchers sur Layon – Excellent value and St. Cyr en Bourg well worth a visit. Very peaceful holiday – just what we wanted. Sue and Jon are there if you want them to be – but in no way intrusive. Would love to come back.
