The Le Vieux Logis is situated in a small and peaceful farming hamlet with beautiful views of the open countryside which can be enjoyed from its own terrace area or enclosed garden. The gite is very spacious and comfortable and has all the home comforts in place to ensure that our guests can relax and unwind to enjoy that well earned perfect holiday. In the front garden their is an overground pool 5mtr x 1.2mtr which is ideal for children to splash around or to cool off in the hot summer months. There are adult and children's bikes on site for our guests to use during their stay. The gite is ideally situated to explore most of the major attractions that the Anjou region has to offer. We are only 3km away from the lovely historic town of Montreuil Bellay which boasts a charming chateau and there are lovely walks to enjoy along the river 'Thouet'. We are ideally located for those who have a keen interested in the well acclaimed wines of 'Anjou', there are several vineyards close by who will welcome you in for a tour and wine tasting.

GITE:-
Bedroom 1:- with double bed, wardrobe, alarm clock radio, reading lamps, small vanity unit with seat, hairdryer and en suite large family shower, wc and basin.

Bedroom 2:- with a double bed and single bed, wardrobe, table and chair, bedside cabinets, alarm clock radio, reading lamps, hairdryer and en suite shower, basin and wc. There is also room for a cot.

Large kitchen/breakfast room:- Fully equipped: including microwave, cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and pressure cooker.

Lounge/dining room:- Two spacious sofas, dining table, patio doors which lead out to a paved terrace area. There is a TV (English), video, DVD and radio/CD player, a selection of DVDs, videos, books and toys (adults and children's).

Shower/utility room:- with wc is located on the ground floor.

Iron, board & clothes airer.

All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided and are changed weekly for guests staying more than 7 nights

Internet access WIFI.

Chambre d'Hotes with 2 Guest Rooms
Bedroom 1:- Large double bedroom, original stone flooring, beams and exposed stone walls. En suite shower, basin and WC. There is a sofa which converts into a bed for a small child and a cot can be added thus making this into a family room for two adults & two children if required. The room is very tastefully furnished and there is a TV, radio alarm clock, tea & coffee making facilities, reading lamps & hairdryer.

Bedroom 2:- Twin bedroom with en-suite bath, shower, basin and WC. Beamed bedroom which has been decorated in a modern and comfortable style incorporating the original features of this 200 year old farmhouse. There is a TV, tea & coffee making facilities, radio alarm clock, hairdryer & reading lamps.

Internet access WIFI.

Use of owners lounge to read or watch satellite TV.

There is a flowered sheltered terrace area where breakfast can be taken weather permitting

Chambre d'hote rate - 55 Euros per night inclusive of Breakfast.

We offer a family rate of 85 Euros per night for either one or two rooms, you choose the price is the same, this includes breakfast.

Book our special family "one night package" for 2 adults and upto 3 children - two bedrooms , barbecue or set evening meal including drinks and breakfast all for 100 euros.

For stays of 3 nights or more a 20% discount is offered.

A 30% deposit will secure your booking, this can be made by sterling cheque, this will be returned when full payment in Euros has been made upon your arrival.

Long winter lets are available for the gite.

Discounts offered for more than one week booked in low season.

Changeover dates are usually Saturday, arrival time from 2pm and departure time no later than 11am. Although these can be changed by prior arrangement.
Chambre d'hotes - rooms are available from 2pm and departure time is no later than 11am.
