We ask for a 20% booking deposit plus a £100 refundable security deposit with your booking. The balance of the rental is due 2 months before your arrival. We can accept credit card payments must there is a small merchanting fee of 3.9% that we unfortunately have to charge.

We had a wonderful time at Les Fleurs and loved the food. We had great days out which included canoeing and visiting the Bioparc! We loved the pool and enjoyed going in most days. Thank you Jon and Sue for everything you have done.

Gorgeous area, we loved the Bio Parc (ZOO) in Doue if you do anything do this. We usually hate zoos but this is truly different! Thoroughly enjoyed wine tasting with Jon and Sue and then the consumption of yummy local wines. Saumur Château was good for us all, as was the Troglodyte village in Rochemenier. Pool and gardens fab, very lucky with the weather. All in All a wonderful break. We will be back!

Thank you for making us feel so welcome at Les Fleurs, we had a lovely holiday. The cottage was exactly what we needed – plenty of downstairs space, fully equipped with high chairs, plastic baby bowls, cutlery etc and age appropriate toys. Having the gates at the end of the drive and the lovely gardens with swings and trikes meant we could let even the younger boys play out on their own without worrying. There was plenty to do, the Zoo at Doue la Fontaine is beautifully done, we went to L’Etang family park, the Tank museum in Saumur and various Chateaux with gardens to run around in.

Had a wonderful holiday in the Loire Valley. Visited lots of Chateaux, the Zoo, Mushroom museum, Troglodyte Village, Gardens of Villandry were excellent! Chinon is a lovely town. Had a fabulous two weeks in Soleil. Sue and Jon have thought of everything. Toys, games, books and outdoor toys for the children, a really safe pool and garden area, where us adults could relax. One of the highlights of the holiday is Sue’s gorgeous cooking, far superior than any restaurant and served by Jon whilst the kids watched a dvd, a real treat!! The surrounding area is really beautiful and we enjoyed our evening walks through the vineyards, finding all sorts of creatures, the kids loved it!! Best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. Beautiful area, very easy to get to different Chateau and villages. If you have small children the chateau at Usse is fascinating with the story of Sleeping Beauty done in the Tower rooms with models. Also the play park at L’Etang just out of Brissac Quince on the St. Saturnin road is excellent with water slide, mini beach and a little train which goes round it. We wish we were staying longer. We have had a fabulous two weeks – absolute heaven! Jon and Sue, our only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to spend with you, as we so enjoyed your company. Everything has been wonderful, the baguettes, of which we have eaten so many, the visits to the chateaux, the wonderful Zoo at Doue la Fontaine, the visit to Chemins de la Rose, the magnificent pottery at Rose Bleau and the wonderful meals. The pool is delightful – the raspberries from the garden are a joy. All the time and attention Jon and Sue put into Les Fleurs paid off for us in every way. We have thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks stay. A beautiful part of the world. Sue & Jon have been wonderful hosts, caring, and extremely helpful warm and very friendly. We were very impressed with the accommodation a great place to base our travels in the Loire. Many thanks for a fantastic place to stay and fabulous service.

A lovely two weeks with too much to see and do. Thank you Jon & Sue for the plentiful supply of wine, the boules evening and the superb meal you cooked for us. We visited the Zoo at Doue, a chateau, a troglodyte village and many others. The gîte is wonderful, do show the before renovation photos to all your guests. Saumur is worth at least one visit and the market at Doue was huge!!! Thank you once again.

We have had a wonderful holiday. The gite is excellent with all the facilities we require. We have visited Doue, Saumur, Chinon, Montreuil Bellay and more. The Zoo at Doue was excellent and we all enjoyed the vintage car Grand Prix at Le – Puy – Notre Dame. Thank you Jon & Sue for making us feel welcome. We enjoyed the Boules evenings and have felt privileged to be included in the summer soirées you had with your friends. It has been great to have Jon and his wine cave on tap whenever it was needed.
