The latest of our barn conversions, Lys has been sympathetically renovated and has wonderful views from the mezzanine, over the vine- yards and countryside. Lys is a perfect holiday home in the Loire France WiFi internet access. 
Wherever possible we have exposed the beautiful stonewalls, and original beams have been used to create some outstanding features. Quarry tiles found in the garden have been used in the creation of the staircase. 
Lys is ideal for two people, plus baby/toddler or small child. The lounge is very comfortably furnished, having a TV, DVD player, hi-fi, DVDs, books and games. The delightful kitchen / dining room is open plan; the kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cooker and microwave ,iron and ironing board.. French doors lead onto a very private patio with wonderful roses, BBQ and garden furniture. The garden backs onto the a vineyard. We have equipped the holiday home with all the comforts of home. Making your self catering holiday in the Loire Valley as comfortable as possible.  
The bedroom is on the 'L' shaped mezzanine floor. The sofa at the opposite end of the mezzanine is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the views over the countryside to Puy Notre Dame, with its famous church illuminated in the evening. 
The bathroom has a hand basin, toilet and shower.

Being in the heart of the Loire Valley Wine Route and close to historic chateau, we are ideally placed for a wonderful holiday. The airports of Tours,Angers, Nantes and Poiters are all within easy reach. The TGV runs from Paris to Saumur. Doue la Fontaine, he nearest town, holds a farmers market every Monday where guests can stock their larders with wonderfully fresh products to enhance their cooking. Doue is also world renowned for their conservation zoo, fabulous Rose Gardens, troglodyte houses and musuems are close by. Golf, tennis,horse riding, bird watching, walking, cycling ( we have cycles for hire)chateau visits, wine tastings or simply lazing by the pool.
