Les Conifères is a recently renovated farmhouse, set in a peaceful Vendee farming hamlet, between Fontenay le Comte and Niort, providing a Holiday Cottage equipped for 2 to 4 persons. We also offer friendly and welcoming Bed and Breakfast accommodation, with three ensuite rooms, in the main house adjacent to the cottage.

The Vendée is renowned for it's climate, being the second sunniest area of France after the Mediterranean coast.

Our property is set in private grounds on the edge of the tiny hamlet of Chantegros, which is conveniently located only 15 mins from the A83 motor way, 3k from the village of St Hilaire des Loges, 2k from the bustling small market town of Coulonges sur l'Autize, and close to the historical towns of Fontenay le Comte and Niort, set as we are, on the edge of both the Pays de la Loire & Poitou Charentes regions.

The beautiful Forest of Mervent-Vouvant is only 10 minutes away, and an easy 50 minute journey will take you to the Atlantic coast at La Rochelle. The tranquil waterways of the Venise Verte or Marais Poitevin, are close by, and the theme park of Futuroscope, near Poitiers is only an hour away. Several Golf Courses lie within 30 - 60 mins drive.

Cottage Rental Rates Low Season Price : €234 High Season Price : €499 per Week

Deposit of 25% required upon booking. The balance should be paid on or before 6 weeks prior to the holiday start date. Payment Methods: Credit Card payments can be made via PayPal.com. Cash - Euros only - sent via Registered Post for security. GBP Sterling cheque - but a £6 surcharge will be added to each payment to cover our exchange costs. We do operate a cancellation policy, details of which will be supplied with our booking form. However it is recommended that you should take out your own cancellation insurance.
