Unwind in the peace and tranquility of the French countryside. This beautiful self-catering holiday cottage, sleeps 6, the cottage is set in 1.5 acres of pretty gardens within easy driving distance from the ports of Caen and St Malo. There is a solar heated swimming pool with sun-loungers and each cottage has its own private garden equipped with garden furniture and barbecues. Within the grounds is a secure one acre field which is perfect as an area for family games or picnics. An ideal place for a relaxing holiday. The cottage has an open living area on the ground floor with electric heating and excellent facilities, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine,Dvd & Cd player, sky tv and video. Le Monet has the additional benefit of a wood burner. Bed linen and towels are provided. 
 
Le Monet Le Rodin, Le Cezanne (Sleeps 6) (4) & (4) They are pretty cottages which sleeps 14 people comfortably. Le Monet has a wood burning stove and additional electric heaters. Downstairs there is a light, airy, comfortable open plan living/dining room with Sky TV, video and DVD & CD player, and a door to the garden which is equipped with patio furniture and a barbecue. The modern fitted kitchen area has a fridge freezer, microwave, and washing machine. Upstairs are three bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twin. The shower room is fitted with a luxury shower, a toilet and wash basin. Bed linen and towels are provided.

    • The local village of Madré has a bar and restaurant, a boulangerie for your breakfast bread and croissants, and an excellent butcher’s shop. Madré also has an Eco-Museum depicting rural life in the 19th century , horse-riding and sign-posted country walks. You will love exploring Mayenne (allegedly France’s best-kept secret), with its streams, rivers, and forests. There are wild flowers in abundance, and you may see a red squirrel or a kingfisher. This region has some of the clearest skies in France. The starry nights here will take your breath away! Not forgetting the many churches, castles and Roman remains. Fifteen minutes away is the spa town of Bagnoles de l’Orne with its excellent restaurants, traditional shops, golf course, lake, casinos, sporting facilities and a large supermarket. Also for the car enthusiasts, Le Mans is only 65 minutes away and the Classic Car Convention at Javron Les Chapelles, which is held every August, is 5 minutes down the road.
