This very roomy apartment in a magnificently flamboyant villa was originally the living quarters of the butler/housekeeper couple to one of the richest men in post-war France. It offers privacy, peace and quiet with luxury accommodation, just a few minutes from the beaches at Fort Mahon, and with easy access to Le Touquet, Montreuil, and Abbeville.

Inside, you’ll find a big bright living room with large windows facing south and west onto the impressive garden and a comfortably roomy bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom. We’ve given it the Sandboys treatment, with original art on the walls, comfortable modern furniture, a luxury bathroom and a compact but fully-equipped modern kitchen, to create a wonderfully sunny and restful holiday place, strictly for couples only.

Garden chairs and a table are provided so that you can dine outside, and sun loungers so that you can just kick back and relax. The village has a bread shop and there are a variety of pleasant eating places in nearby villages.

    • The attractive towns of Abbeville, Montreuil and Le Touquet are a short car ride away. The fine cities af Amiens and Arras are worth a visit as are all the famous 1914-18 World War 1 Somme battlefields and memorials.

    Some of France's finest golf courses are to be found within 20 miutes drive, and the Cote d'Opale offers superb beaches, ample water sports opportunities and seafood straight from the sea.
