Vacation Rental Description
This tastefully restored, stone-built house is part of a quiet rural estate and is bounded by open fields, a small stream and former farm buildings. It comprises some 200 m² of living space, and is comfortably equipped with a mix of antique furnishings and modern fittings. Insulation and double-glazing ensure coolness during the hottest summer days. It is a homely and tranquil setting, ideal for relaxed holidays for families and friends.
The house opens on to a gravel court surrounded by raised beds of flowers, herbs, shrubs and trees in dry-stone walls. For al-fresco dining there is a large table, 8 chairs and a sun umbrella. A few steps (and a safety gate) lead directly to the walled sun-deck and the private 7m x 4m swimming pool. The tennis court is a five-minute walk, at the other end of the estate.
On the ground floor, the main entrance leads directly to the large comfortable living room (45m²), which also opens onto the East-facing courtyard garden and sun terrace. The old beams, wood stove and terracotta floor tiles contrast charmingly with the cream tones of the sofas, armchairs, and pine furnishings.
The generous kitchen-dining room (24m²) has a traditional fireplace with a wood stove and a country kitchen table seating 8. Modern appliances include a multi-function electric oven, gas hob, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave and espresso machine.
One large twin bedroom opens directly, through a large French window, onto the garden.
Also on the ground floor are the shower room and a separate w.c. (with washing machine and tumble dryer).
On the first floor are two double bedrooms and a further twin bedroom.
There is also a bathroom and a separate w.c.
