The Tarn et Garonne remains an unspoilt agricultural region with wonderful market towns, excellent cuisine and great local wines. Valence d' Agen hosts its market on Tuesday mornings, offering excellent local produce, and has a nearby 9-hole golf course. The larger towns of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Moissac with its Romanesque abbey and cloisters and Agen, famed for its prunes are all worth a visit.
