The recent renovation has retained many original features and the property is beautifully decorated with many artistic touches, interesting art and artefacts and a stimulating mix of contemporary and traditional furniture. Approached by an imposing drive, the self-contained apartment has its own private entrance, surrounded by fragrant climbing roses. The accommodation is arranged on two floors. The stunning converted barn with full height windows is now a light and airy lounge with a formal dining area and satellite tv including BBC, Sky, ITV and various English radio stations. In the hall there is a downstairs shower room with WC and then a separate laundry room. The hallway leads to a lofty open-plan kitchen with breakfast bar, dining and seating area. Sliding doors open onto a courtyard with fountain, with access to the gardens and glorious views of the countryside.

Upstairs is a mezzanine floor, leading to the bedroom, which provides a very comfortable evening sitting room with a selection of books and games. Broad Band wi-fi computer link service is provided to the accommodation. Outside in the grounds there are mature trees and shrubs offering shade in the summer. Perched on the top of a hill, there are uninterrupted views of the rolling countryside in all directions.

The sparsely populated department of Tarn et Garonne is in the heart of South West France. Here is a patchwork of orchards, vineyards, woods and meadows, which provide an abundance of luscious fruits and vegetables and of course, grapes.
