unspoilt countryside overlooking some of the most beautiful scenery in the region.
****
The buildings of " Pallas'' were constructed from local white stone and timber by the farmers who
lived there more than 150 years ago.
Today, they still look the same although it has been converted to a modern standard to make
your holiday as convenient as possible.
As well, the barn and the farm-house are facing opposite directions thus affording privacy.
****
The barn has a very spacious main room with a monumental dining table, comfortably furnished for
relaxing, and includes three convertible settees. It also has a large open fire place.
The kitchen area has all modern equipment: dishwasher, fridge, washing machine and drier, cooker
and coffee maker. The two bedrooms each have double beds. Bedroom1 has en-suite shower room
and w.c. Bedroom 2 has adjoining bathroom and w.c.
****
The farmhouse is made up of 3 bedrooms and one bathroom with a very large bath and one w.c. Plus
well furnished living accommodations and all the standard kitchen appliances as already detailed for
the barn. From the sitting room you will have a very nice sight on hills and valley.
Your outside meals can be taken under a century old lime tree from where you will appreciate
looking at the sunset a glass of local wine in hand. (Cahors is famous for its wine)!
Garden furniture is supplied along with a barbecue.
****
The village of Montaigu de Quercy is only five minutes away and offers all the facilities you may need.
Main towns are also within easy driving distance:

The surrending countryside is a mixture of woods, valley and hill top villages that each has their own church, market place and small bars. During the summer season, there is an open market almost every day in a different village: fresh organic fruits and vegetables have become a speciality of this agricultural region of france .
****
On foot, on horseback, on a bike and downriver in a canoe you have indeed so much to explore: castles, cathedral, mills, museums, medieval villages, caverns, caves, animal farms, aquarium, flower gardens, vineyards, restaurants and so on....
For swimming, leisure lakes and rivers are close at hand and offer accommodations for children.
