Vacation Rental Description
Quercy style farmhouse gite in 5 acres of orchards, woods and meadows at end of no-through road. It is a perfect setting for a private, peaceful holiday.  
There is a large open plan kitchen/salon which opens onto a spacious, sun terrace 10metres x 5 metres. There is a large shady barn - perfect for having a rest or playing when the sun gets too hot. 
 
4 bedrooms , sleeps maximum of 7 people  
Bedroom 1 - 1 Double Bed 
Bedroom 2 - 1 Double Bed,  
Bedroom 3 - 1 Single Bed,  
Bedroom 4 - 1 Bunk Beds, changeable into 1 single bed to your requirements. 
 
In the open plan salon, which is overlooked by the mezzanine bunk beds bedroom, one sofa fold into double beds. There are two showers/toilets, deserving two bedrooms each. 
 
With cherries, plums, figs, raspberies, blackberries there is an abundance of opportunity to pick your own dessert in the garden. The gardens and fields are full of aromatic herbs both domestic and wild. With no chemical treatment on our land for the past 20 years, our plants make great infusions.  
 
Our commune is on the edge of an east/west escarpment which overlooks the Garonne Valley, and when walking around, you can see the Pyrenees in the distance. At the top of the hill (where we are)and heading north, starts the area known as the "Quercy Blanc". This area is perfect for getaway from it all holidays. Wonderful hilltop mediaeval villages, pageants, historic sites. beautiful rolling scenery. From our house you can go by foot in any direction and follow the numerous footpaths and bridleways. We are also not far away from the cities of Montauban and Toulouse, when you can visit some great museums and monuments. 
 
Horseback riders are welcome, separate paddocks and hay is available. 
 
What people tell us they most like about our property is the calm and quiet. Families with young children appreciate the fact that the pool is in a seperate garden around the corner and also that the pool is all one depth (just 20cms deeper in the middle) and so is great for family games and AQUA GYM !

Pretty views all around, pleasant country walks in all directions. Beautiful round swimming pool with mini cascade to sit under when its too hot, set in lush green secluded gardens. Make use of low cost flights - MIDWEEK BOOKINGS CONSIDERED. Horse-riders welcome, hay and water available. What families like about our place is its situation on a hill, its accessibility for sightseeing and its swimming-pool.

    • Nearest river beach is 5 minutes by car. The local Golf course is just 5 minutes down the hill. Mini quadbikes, paintball, and watersports, are all within 15 minutes drive.In summer months one festival runs into another in Montauban; there is a singing festival in June followed by a European Jazz festival, usually with international stars, and jamming sessions at various venues throughout the historic redbrick town of Montauban. This is followed by dance festivals in late summer. Because of the absence of pollution, most nights in summer are wonderful for stargazers and astronomers. From our field which is high with no trees, the sky is a joy to behold. Telescope evenings are not uncommon in August.

    Weekly rates: There is a 300 Euro security deposit required which is returnable on the first business day after departure. The booking fee is 25% of total rental and is non returnable in case of your cancellation. Total rental fee and security deposit must be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. We accept only euro bank cheques for your booking deposit. Midweek bookings are possible out of season - please enquire.
