3 Bedroom Gite in Puy l'Eveque

La Brise is a a large house, the property is divided sensibly into two apaprtments especially for self catering holidays. Just five minutes walk into the medeival village of Puy L'Eveque, it is perfectly situated for walking and enjoying the local restuarants. We are open all year and offer short from 7 day holidays or longer lets.
As we are just beside the river both apartments have balconies looking over the river, a good place to sit, relax and enjoy the sunset, perhaps with a glass of local wine.
We have a private pontoon and the garden is in two levels, offering privacy for all our guests. Fishing from the pontoon with our fishing dingy or canoeing, the river Lot is such a wonderful place to spend the day, during your stay we try to arrange an evening in our larger boat to explore further up stream. You can use the boat or canoes to visit some of the local restuarants on the river. Picnic by the river and swim, during the warm summer months the river is a wonderful place to cool down.
We have an above ground pool and Jacuzzi, BBQ and seating areas for both apaprtments. There are bikes, table tennis and lots of games. UK TV and Wifi alos phone for calls outside France.
We offer an all inclusive price with NO extras. Both apaprtments are well fitted and maintained there is a wood buring stove for the cool winter days in each apartment.

La Brise offers two good size and well really well fitted apapartments, one with two bedrooms and one bathroom with seperate w.c. and the other a three bedroom with one ensuite bathroom and a further shower and bathroom and seperate w.c. Both gites have large balconies overlooking the River Lot, ideal for dining or sitting enjoying the evening sunset over the river. We are open all year and both apartments have wood burning stoves and heating, long term winter lets at excellent prices. Our weekly prices are all inclusive with utilities and linen included and of course use of all facilities on site. UK TV and DVD is available in both apartments as is wifi. Telephone calls are free from the computer phone. We have both Sauna and Jacuzzi, also an above ground pool; canoes and fishing boat and our own private fishing pontoon. Our cleaner is always happy to arrange a mid holiday clean. We offer a babysitting service if you want to go out alone.

Ideally situated on the very edge of the village; you can walk into the restaurants and shops in 5 minutes and enjoy the benefits of living in Puy L'Eveque without the noise of village life. Puy L'Eveque has lots of interesting places to eat and enjoy the local delicasies in fact more than any other village in the area, numbering 13 eateries in 2010, no worries about drinking and driving. There is a local tennis club where games can be arranged, also new indoor swimming pool with lanes for serious swimmers and also for families.
Golf, horse riding, biking all within easy reach.
Fish from our private pontoon,use our own fishing boat with engine, we have a policy of offering one group of fishermen at a time to give maximum space for your lines. Licences can be arranged and we have seating etc if required. Carp, Pike, Perch, Bream, Barbel,Chubb and Sander. Night fishing is allowed.

• Travel Info: Puy L'Eveque is an easy drive from Bergerac airport,car hire is available from there. We can arrange to pick you up from Bergerac if you do not want to bring a car. We do have bikes. St Malo, Caen are 6 to 7 hours away. We are able to get some discount on crossings with Brittany ferries. You do not need a car as you can walk easily into the village and you can get all you might need there.
