The Gîte consists a Chalet, Apartment & Studio which are let as a single unit in part or as a whole.
Situated high on the edge of the Massif Central, in the Bouriane near the Quercy National Park.
A most beautiful area of the Northern Lot.
Les Huguets is situated in a ‘très calme’ secluded countryside location with
much wildlife notably butterflies, golden eagles, buzzards, kites, deer and boar.
It is within easy reach of the leisure facilities of the
Lot, Célé & Dordogne valleys by quiet peaceful roads.
Les Huguets is surrounded by beautiful villages such as
St.Germain-du-Bel-Air & St.Martin-de-Vers.
The Market towns of Gourdon, Salviac &
Labastide-Murat are within easy reach
and the bastide town of Domme &
the ‘city in a cliff’ of Rocamadour are close by.
The fortified city of Cahors & Figeac with its ancient buildings are only a 1/2 hr drive away.
The English owners Mike & Dorrie Norris live in the main house.

Chalet has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 3) with air-conditioned living area with TV/DVD/CD system.
A fully equipped kitchen, shower room with toilet and utility room.
A covered veranda with barbecue facing the orchard, swimming pool access.
The Apartment has a private entrance and sleeps 2 in comfort
Situated on the ground floor comprising of a large living(TV/DVD/CD)/dining-kitchen area which is fully equipped. A double bedded room & shower room with toilet. A cool, covered outdoor Eating/Barbecue area with dining table by the lawn, adjacent to the secluded swimming pool. Central heating Nov-April.
The Studio sleeps 2 & has a private entrance. A large main room with coffee table, dining table & chairs plus a sofa bed. There is a TV/DVD/CD system. A fully equipped kitchen, large shower room with toilet.
Outside is a South facing, secluded, dining/seating area with lawn and lily pond, swimming pool access.

Activities
Situated high on the edge of the Massif Central, in the Bouriane near the Quercy National Park. A most beautiful area of the Northern Lot.
Locally & within easy reach are the rivers Lot, Célé & Dordogne with their boat trips, rafting & canoeing facilities. Also several caves notably the Gouffre de Padirac with it's underground river trip.
Some notable nearby chateaux are Chateau de Castelnaud, built in the 12th century which faces Chateau Beynac across the Dordogne River.
Château de Hautefort is built on a stunning rocky promontory & is one of the most remarkable châteaux in the region.
Other places of within 30 min drive are the walled city of Cahors with the unique Pont de Valentre, the Bastide town of Domme, the city in the cliff of Rocamadour, the village of St. Cirque Lapopie sitting high above the river Lot and the Rose Labyrinth and water gardens at Figeac.
