Chateau Joncasses is a perigordian style chateau built by its English artist and designer owner and nestles on a hillside overlooking the beautiful countryside of the Lot Valley. the secluded grounds of 50 acres have gardens landscaped into green fairways beyond which oak woods and wild flower fields cascade into deep valleys. 
 
Sweeping ivy-clad balustrades and balconies, together with hand made stone mullion windows, provide a panoramic view of the grounds and stunning countryside beyond. Whilst the chateau interior has intricately detailed carving, paneled walls, candelabra, antiques and works of art create the ambience of a bygone age. A unique feature is the intimate cellar wine bar with several hundred bottles of local wine. Five of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, one being on the ground floor for those unable to manage the stairs. 
 
The huge, solar heated, pool and dome covered jacuzzi, surrounded by terraces decorated in summer with cascading flowers, provide the perfect daytime retreat which, at night, is transformed into the most romantic setting as its stunning green light illuminates the chateau. A gym including a variety of exercise equipment leads through to an indoor sports hall with a full size badminton court, two table tennis tables, pool table, table top football, darts and further weight training equipment. There are also mountain bikes and five hole target golf in the grounds.  
 
All facilities are provided on an exclusive basis and therefore the Chateau is ideal for family holidays. 
 
For the hard-working ladies, an on site beautician offers massage, reki and beauty treatments and the services of a maid or cook can be arranged. 
 
The rental price includes a cruise on the nearby River Lot.
