Vacation Rental Description
The property is a delightful example of traditional 18th-century French architecture, with dormer windows and painted wooden shutters.
The beautiful bedrooms are very spacious and all en-suite, combining period charm with modern comforts. The house has 4 large and opulent bedrooms; the upper 2 have spectacular mountain views, and the lower open onto a pretty village scene, backed by mountain peaks.
Twin, double and triple bedrooms are available, and each has a private en suite shower room, stocked with toiletries and a hairdryer. All have traditional, fresh décor and provide comfort and luxury after a hard day exploring the mountains!
There are two large barns - one provides ample and secure undercover parking for guests with cars, the other (which is also Phil's workshop) serves as a secure resting spot for motorbikes. There is also a bike-wash area and clothes drying room, and all guests are welcome to use the workshop. The property also boasts a pleasant garden area with outdoor seating for al fresco dining in the warmer months.
Alongside Belinda and Phil, who occupy the farmhouse, lives Harry, the very friendly resident golden retriever, who greets guests with a waggy tail! Chez Boulioon has an exceptionally relaxed atmosphere, and you're sure to receive a very warm welcome.
Facilities
**A delicious French breakfast is served fresh every morning in the spacious and newly fitted kitchen, and includes Belinda's famous home-made bread and jams, made from locally-picked fruit. Fresh bread and croissants are also delivered to the village every morning by the local baker. Evening meals are available when booked in advance.

* Just a 15-mins drive away,discover the hill-top castle, church or cave at Lourdes,where Bernadette was said to have been visited by Mary,where holy water flows from the magnificent building's taps.Nearby Pau houses the spectacular chateaux, formerly used by Napoleon as a holiday retreat & is also home to the famous Pau Circuit, which hosts the annual Grand Prix de Pau.
The fast & direct roads make it easy to travel slightly further, so guests can also enjoy the surfing & sunbathing at beach-side Biarritz, or even hop over the border to Spain for a spot of sangria!
